Ella Malherbe is a Swiss and Irish film music composer and songwriter based in Switzerland.

As a songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and performer, she has been performing across Europe and the UK since 2013, as well as been playlisted on national and international radios with many of my compositions such as Never Again (2022), Suspension (2022), Lovely Bird (2018), making her indie-rock duo Marzella one of the most broadcast bands of RTS La 1ère, and broadcast on BBC radio 6 notably, counting more than a half million streams.

In the past few years she has been involved in the composition of several film projects notably the award-winning 83’ documentary « Stuntwomen », winner of the Best Documentary at the Swiss Film Awards 2023 and Golden Eye in the ZFF Focus competition (Zurich Film Festival 2022), official selection at IDFA (International Documentary Festival Amsterdam), and the Solothurner Filmtage 2023. Most lately her work for the webserie Dünns Iis (2023) allowed her to travel to Vienna where she recorded the prestigious Synchron Stage Orchestra, as part of her Masters in Composition for Film, Theatre and Media at the Zürich University of The Arts
