Ella Malherbe is a Swiss and Irish singer-songwriter and film music composer based in Switzerland. 

With her duo Marzella, she has become one of the most broadcast artists of Swiss-French Radios and has been touring extensively through Europe for the past 15 years.
Switzerlands Radio 1 (RTS La 1ère) have named the song Never Again a « a hit in the making » having it on heavy rotation through all of RTS channels. Marzella have been broadcast nation-wide in Switzerland, and have made it to the international ears of listeners of BBC 6, BBC 5 Live, and BBC Ulster. The pair have performed in prestigious venues such as The Montreux Jazz Festival, Shepherd’s Bush Empire London and Floating Castle Festival Slovenia.

In recent years, Ella has been writing for film and dance pieces and entered the Swiss Film Academy thanks to her co-composition for the award winning documentary Cascadeuses (2022).

Her current Master studies in Composition for Film, Theatre and Media at the Zurich University of the Arts have led her to travel to Addis Ababa, Seoul, and Vienna for several artist residencies and recordings such as the Vienna Synchron Stage Orchestra.
